Most of the time, when choosing a wooden bracelet, you prefer to get a darker colour. I don't know the exact reason, but I received many requests for darker texture beads.

If budget is not an issue, wild agarwood or sandalwood beads would fit this particular requirement. The reason: these wild beads are made from the older trees. Generally, with agarwood and sandalwood, the older the tree, the darker colour it becomes.

So, what about the young wood? How do you get it darker without dyeing?

It is easy. All you need to do is to wear it every day. Let's your sweat, and the sun do the work for you.

You see, these beads respond to its environment just like a tree would. When the weather is hot, they expand. When the weather is cold, they contract. When the humidity is higher, it smells better. When you wear them frequently, they contact with air and sunlight and react to these factors. The result: a darker colour.

How long does it take for the colour change?

It depends, but expect it to be around 3 months or more.

I am going to share a story with you.

On June 19, Q ordered an Ageless Sandalwood mala from us. After 15 months, the string broke, and he asked us to re-string. And we agreed

Dramatic difference?

I agree. So don't be shy to wear your beads daily. The result is really amazing.
